Profile

Prior to commencing her studies at the University of Alberta Ms. Burke held senior positions as a surgical and critical care nurse in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta and Houston, Texas.  Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Burke articled at the Alberta Court of Appeal to Justice Elizabeth McFadyen.  Ms. Burke then joined the law firm of Wedekind Demiantschuk & Larsen, a firm which was later to become DLBH LLP.

Ms. Burke carries on a general litigation practice, but maintains a major focus in the areas of corporate and commercial matters, foreclosures and collections.  She has represented clients at all levels of Court in Alberta and has acted as senior counsel for several successful judicial mediations and arbitrations.
