Profile
Upon graduating from law school, Julie clerked for the 9th Circuit Federal District Court in Orange County, California. Subsequently Julie practiced criminal defense in California before joining a prominent international law firm in Calgary, practicing civil litigation. Julie joined DLBH in 2013 and maintains a general litigation practice with a focus on contract disputes, construction litigation, real estate matters, along with shareholder and employment disputes.
Julie is a member of both the Canadian Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She regularly volunteers as duty counsel at the Alberta Provincial Court and with Calgary Legal Guidance. Julie is also an executive board member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, running and learning Spanish.
